'Take a Moment'
Stillness, clean air, tranquility, rustling of leaves in the air
As I mindfully enter the forest, leaving behind my despair
Mother Earth, unconditionally healing beneath my feet
What more could I ask for, what ere' can compete
Beautiful, proud standing trees, swaying gently in the breeze
The oak, the beach, aged and wise, I urge to squeeze
Imagine tales of laughter and tears they could re-tell
As couples walked hand in hand as new buds begin to swell
Ever flowing wisdom and love, these trees are so healing
As breathing in the air, my head is sent reeling
Thro' Respryn, Lanhydrock & Golitha Falls I roam
So wonderous these evergreen woods that feel like home
My time, for renewal, cleansing, rejeuvenating space
Its no wonder theres a beaming smile upon my face
Contentedly I greet my fellow walkers in the wood
I admire the life of trees that so proudly for an age have stood
Friends, stand still, take a moment, time is passing fast
Greet the simplicity and splendour of our world of times past
Trees still standing after many a year, home to green spirits
Be still, Listen, open your heart & soul, feel it, be in it
Stillness, clean air, tranquility, rustling of leaves in the air
As I mindfully enter the forest, leaving behind my despair
Mother Earth, unconditionally healing beneath my feet
What more could I ask for, what ere' can compete
